Sinjin Li is the artist name of Welsh-Chinese illustrator and designer Sing.
Sing uses a practical mixed media approach, including painting, drawing and collage, enjoying the contrast between finer detail and painterly textures. She is influenced and inspired by science fiction and folklore, especially by the writers Ursula Le Guin and Alan Garner, as well as the mythical landscapes of North Wales, and the eerie golden-grey beauty of the East Anglian coast. The imagery in her work draws from nature, is at times surreal and dreamlike, and is often inspired by fun and a bit of joking.
